Welcome to the NNAHRA pre-requisite training for Tribal Adjudication Professionals. This pre-requisite training has been designed to ensure that all TAP Certification attendees acquire a consistent and comprehensive understanding of the essential requirements outlined in the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act and Indian Country Law Enforcement Regulations. Our goal is to establish a shared foundation of core knowledge among all participants.

Throughout the training course, we aim to impart a practical understanding of the background investigation process, the details of the adjudication certification process, and their relevance to Indian Tribes, Tribal Organizations, and federal agencies committed to serving Indian children and communities. By the end of the course, participants will not only be well-versed in these critical processes but also poised to contribute significantly to the protection and well-being of their communities.

Kindly ensure completion of the pre-requisite training one week before the in-person Background Investigation & Adjudication Training. The course is designed to take 2 to 4 hours, accommodating different learning styles. In case you encounter challenges meeting the deadline, we'll happily defer your registration to the next available in-person training. Thank you for your understanding and commitment to the process.
